London is quite simply one of the most photogenic, urban landscapes in the world. The Romans established the foothold of Londinium on the banks of the River Thames, in AD43 and from those humble beginnings, London remains one of the most iconic capital cities in the World.  With the city's life blood quite literally, flowing through the heart of the capital, throughout history a world leader in trade and export and today, a mecca for tourists and togs!  In every direction and around every corner, a photographic opportunity awaits, no matter what time of the day or night or season, the river never fails to deliver with its seemingly endless bounty of brilliant architecture and urban delight, spanning hundreds of years from Greenwich in the east to Chelsea in the west.

INTRODUCTION

Terry Gibbins and I have designed this tour so that you can spend as much time as possible within easy reach of some of the iconic sites and locations. Based in a great 4 star hotel, CitizenM Bankside...we are a stone's throw away from our main mode of transport for this tour, the River Boat. From here we have access to some real gems along the Thames such as the Naval College, Greenwich Park and the fabulous Queen's House. Greenwich Peninsula and the exciting Emirates Cable Car. The Royal Docks, Thames Barrier, Battersea Power Station, Canary Wharf, and Wapping to name just a few...

We'll spend the days meandering at a leisurely pace to as many locations as possible, utilising the River Boat, the DLR and occasionally the Tube to get us where we need to be. In the evening, when the Capital lights up, Terry and I will take you to some special locations, and help you get to grips with night photography.

By keeping the group size at no more than 8 people ensures that everyone will receive the one to one attention they deserve. Terry and I will use all our knowledge and experience to get you to some of the best locations along the river, in the best light and at the right time of day. We'll be there, right by your side to offer as much guidance and support as you need so all you have to do is focus on your photography and let your creativity take over!
