Well, it’s been months and months in the planning. Endless toing and throwing about image selection. Thoughts and uncertainty as to whether my work ‘fits’ the theme…but now, finally, it’s here!
Over a year ago I was invited to join a very friendly and supportive group of both established and emerging female photographers who go by the collective name of ‘Landscapes by Women’.
The emphasis is to encourage and support female outdoor photographers and create a community, which gives visibility and inspiration to like-minded ladies in the pursuit of their art.
Directed by two fabulous women and very talented photographers, Vanda Ralevska and Beata Moore. Between them, they have tirelessly steered LBW to the forefront of British landscape photography by firmly placing the work of some very talented female photographers well and truly on the map!
Who’d of thought that in such a short span of time that I would be part of our first collective exhibition at the Gallery@OXO, ‘Mistresses of Light’.
I am extremely proud to be part of LBW and delighted to be part of this exciting event.
Pop in and say hello….it’d be good to see you!
